Michelle Phillips MS LMHC NCC, has worked in the mental health field for 11+ years with experience in psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, home based services and residential care for adolescents. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Scent from Arkansas State University in 1994 and her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2010. Michelle is also a board certified counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors. Michelle is currently licensed in the states of Indiana and North Carolina with Ohio licensure pending. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Training, Trauma-Focused CBT and more. Michelle is focused with helping individuals work through trauma and negative experiences that impact their ability to live the life that they want and also enjoys working with couples and families. Michelle’s specific areas of interest are trauma, relationship issues, attachment issues, job stress, anxiety, and depression.
